At Priory Events, we understand the importance of teamwork and that amazing feeling that comes from pulling together with your mates in order to do something great. That’s why we’re happy to offer Team building for Schools to our junior visitors aged 8 years and above. We can cater for any group size in a variety of activities, all the teachers or group leaders have to do is sit back and enjoy….or take on the challenges too.
Whether it’s pulling each other to safety over a deadly Minefield, averting a nuclear catastrophe in the Nuclear Reactor Challenge or making good your escape along the Booby trap trail, you can choose from a variety of challenges that will help your team work together and have a fun and exciting day in the process.
Priory Events is an amazing outdoor adventure activity centre that we would like to offer to educational establishments and youth groups as an outlet for children to enjoy adventure activities while developing key communication and team building skills whilst having fun.
We cater for children from 8 years old and are keen to help children develop:
- An understanding of how to work together as a team and on an individual basis
- Key communication skills, learning to interact with tools and people
- An insight into problem solving
- Leadership abilities
- Co-ordination skills
- Mental and physical aptitudes
…through interesting and energetic outdoor activities that they love.
We are situated on Priory Farm which hosts acres of stunning countryside with lakes, ponds, hills and woodland. We provide lots of fun for everyone throughout the winter and summer months.
We have worked with a variety of youth groups and organisations including Schools, Scouts and Guides, Probation services, Church groups and Police cadets to name but a few.
Events are tailor made for groups and can be sessions for a couple of hours, half-day or full-day events. Our qualified First Aiders are on site.
We do not have specific key stage or curriculum literature but design events to fulfil the specific objectives of the group. On request, risk assessments are available for all activities
Proposals are provided for tailor-made events. Discounts are available for larger groups.
Our beamed ‘Old Barn’ with its roaring fire during the chillier months provides a comfortable base for the day. We serve delicious freshly prepared food or your group can bring a packed lunch. The Barn is also ideal for classroom sessions in a relaxed environment.
If you can’t come to us then we can come to you! Priory Events can transport most of our teambuilding activities and motorized activities to anywhere in the UK.
